Chakra seed vibration chanting is a powerful way to cleanse and balance your chakras, or energy centers. It involves using specific sounds and tones to vibrate each chakra in turn. This can be done either with your voice or with a musical instrument. When it comes to meditation, there are many different types and styles that you can choose from. One of the more popular types of meditation is known as Metta Meditation.

Metta Meditation is a type of mindfulness meditation where you focus on developing feelings of love and kindness towards yourself and others. This type of meditation can be used to cultivate happiness and compassion, and even resolve interpersonal conflict, increase gray matter in the brain that allows one to feel empathy towards others and self, increases feelings of purpose in life, happiness, contentment, joy, impulse control, hope, and decreases PTSD and depression symptoms.

If you’re interested in trying Metta Meditation, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, it’s important to find a comfortable place to sit or recline in.  Elevating your legs will aid the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, (Rest and digest system).  You may also want to focus on your breath and repeat positive affirmations or mantras to yourself.

Once you’re settled, begin by directing loving-kindness towards yourself. Visualize yourself surrounded by a warm, glowing light. Repeat phrases like “may I be happy” or “may I be safe” to yourself. really visualize the words taking root in your heart.

Next, direct these same sentiments toward someone else in your life with who you feel neutral. Again, visualization can be helpful here. And finally, extend these same wishes to someone with whom you have difficulty

How To Practice Metta Meditation?

1. Maybe you sit in a comfortable position with your eyes closed (If that feels safe).  You can sit on the floor, on the earth, or in a chair, with legs elevated comfortably.

2. Maybe you breathe through your nose while expanding the abdomen and exhaling through the mouth, making a “ha” sound.  Maybe you visualize a circle with the inhalation peaking at the top and exhalation and the bottom, just like this.

3. Repeat the following phrases, either silently or aloud:
 
“May I be happy.”
“May I be healthy.”
“May I be safe.”
“May I live with ease.”

4. You can also direct these phrases toward other people in your life, such as friends, family members, or loved ones. For example:
 
“May John be happy.”
“May Mary be healthy.”
“May Sarah be safe.”
“May they all live with ease.”

5. Alternatively, you can focus on a particular quality that you wish to cultivate, such as patience, compassion, or forgiveness. For example:
 
“May I be patient.” “May I be kind.” “May I forgive those who have hurt me.” ” May all beings be free from suffering.” ” May all beings be happy.”

Adding in Bilateral Stimulation:  Tapping left right, left right on collar bones or on knee caps will allow this healing to occur on a cellular level, rewire new neural connections in brain, and harmonize both sides of the brain.
